Workspace

An agentic workspace, not another chatbot

Clerk has its own tools and file system. It reads the case file, runs the calculators, searches the corpus and drafts the documents — and shows its reasoning at every step, so you see exactly what it did and why.

What makes it a workspace

It works the matter — it doesn't just chat about it

A chatbot answers from the message you send. Clerk acts on the whole file, with real tools.

Reads the case file

Clerk opens the documents on the matter, reads them in full and works from what is actually there — not from a pasted snippet.

Searches the corpus

It searches the full Luxembourg jurisprudence — 45,957 decisions — opens the cases that apply and cites each one to justice.public.lu.

Runs the calculators

It computes procedural délais, prescription, préavis and indemnité de départ, cites the governing article and puts the échéance on the calendar.

Drafts the documents

From the file, it drafts mises en demeure, conclusions and plaidoiries, then exports formatted .docx or PDF on your firm's letterhead.

Shows its reasoning

Every step is visible — the searches it ran, the decisions it read, the calculations it made — so nothing happens in a black box.

Grounds every claim

It declares the decisions it actually read each turn, links every citation to its source and flags anything it could not ground.

See it work

Watch the agent open the file, search the corpus and draft

Every tool call and every source is laid out in front of you as the matter moves.

How a matter flows

From an empty matter to work you can file

Four steps, the same every time.

1

Open the matter

Create the matter and set who is on it — lead, contributor or observer. Confidential matters stay hidden, even from admins.

2

Drop in the file

Add the scanned judgments and contracts in French or German. Clerk OCRs every page and extracts the facts, clauses and dates.

3

Task the agent

Tell Clerk what you need — a délai computed, the jurisprudence on a point, a mise en demeure drafted — and watch it work the file.

4

Review what it did

Read its reasoning, check the sources it cited and the échéances it set, then take the .docx or PDF to review, sign and file.

Workspace questions

How is this different from a chatbot?

A chatbot only sees the message you send it. Clerk is an agent with its own tools and file system: it opens the case file, searches the jurisprudence corpus, runs the deadline and indemnité calculators and drafts documents — then shows you every step it took.

Does it actually read my documents?

Yes. It ingests scanned judgments and contracts in French or German, OCRs every page and extracts the facts, clauses and dates, then works from the full file rather than a snippet.

Can I see what the agent did?

Always. Clerk shows its reasoning at every step — the searches it ran, the decisions it opened and read, the calculations it made. It declares the cases it actually read each turn and flags any claim it couldn't ground.

Can my colleagues work the same matter?

Yes. Matters are shared with per-matter roles — lead, contributor and observer — with real-time multi-user messages and document sharing you can accept or revoke. Confidential matters stay hidden, even from admins.

What can it produce that I can use?

Drafts of mises en demeure, conclusions and plaidoiries built from the file, exported as formatted .docx or PDF on your firm's own letterhead — ready to review, sign and file.

Put an agent that does the work on your next matter

Not a chatbot. A workspace that reads the file, searches the corpus, runs the numbers and drafts the documents — with its reasoning in plain sight.
