What's new in Clerk
A running record of what we've shipped — new capabilities, refinements and security work that reach the workspace as soon as they're ready. Newest first.
Recent updates
Firm organisation management
Owners and admins now manage the firm directly: roles (owner, admin, member), per-member monthly usage limits enforced before a turn, and an organisation audit log. Confidential matters stay hidden even from admins.
Real-time messages in shared matters
Messages in a shared matter now arrive live for every member, so a lead, contributor and observer can work the same case file together without refreshing.
Document sharing across the firm
Share a document into a matter and control access with explicit accept and revoke, so the right people see the right files and nobody else does.
The agent now reads attached images
Native model vision lets Clerk see the images you attach — scanned pages, exhibits, screenshots — and reason over them alongside the rest of the file.
Web search in the workspace
When a question reaches beyond the case file, Clerk can search the web and bring grounded results back into its reasoning.
Document generation to formatted .docx and PDF
Clerk drafts mises en demeure, conclusions and plaidoiries from the file and exports them as properly formatted .docx or PDF on your firm's own letterhead — ready to review, sign and file.
Version-pinned document downloads
Every generated document download is now pinned to the version it was created at, so an older message always links to exactly the document it produced — never a later edit.
Chat cites the right sources every turn
Fixed an issue where the chat could repeat earlier citations. Clerk now declares the decisions it actually read on each turn and links every citation to its public source.
Hide-on-scroll navigation
The top navigation now tucks away as you scroll into a long matter and returns the moment you scroll back, giving the case file more room.
Multilingual landing in English, French and German
The public site now reads in English, French and German — the same languages Clerk works across when it reads French or German case files.
